Famous throughout the world, curious, colorful, located in Totonicapán, located in the vicinity of the town of Quetzaltenango. Love to see it full of ornaments. Anything far away and quite convenient to visit.

It lies in San Andrés Xecul, Totonicapán just a few minutes of Xela. It is famous for its colour and ornamentation but erroneously associated with a distant destination…

For anything, please visit so easy that after being in the place you say “why not had come earlier?”.

You can take to go from Xela after breakfast or lunch. It is little that you can find out the history and founding, barely known was restored in 1999. There are not many explanations to the why is decorated as well, so colorful and even tender some say. San andrés xecul color is orange and the Viewer always says that “it seems made of sweet”. Decoration recalls innocent reasons specific to children, bright playful images which highlight the “shoes”. There is no what confused.
