The sculpture is about the capital of a column with rectangular sides. The capital was carved in the shape of a head of a monstrous bat. It is an analogy in this form of representation of a monstrous bat with some other Maya features ancient Mayan cities of decades later, as in Quirigua and Copan. In Quirigua and Copan stelae found monsters Cauac land at the base where it is assumed that the rulers were placed.

“Importantly, the small figure on the back is literally attached to a kind of skirt or cloth at the head of the bat. It is clear that the intention of the sculptor of this figure was to communicate the importance of the union of the past with the monster ”
